SOFT PASTELS DRAWING

Hey guys, welcome to my blog. Today, i’ll be telling you about some tips that you can definitely use. I recently made this drawing. It is a little hard to learn how to use soft pastels properly but once you get the hang of it, it’ll seem really easy. so this is the drawing I made-

So first, you have to gather all the things you will need- paper, soft pastels, marker and whitener. This is the link for the drawing- https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Yf0cwPZKW9A. SO HERE ARE A FEW TIPS-

  1. Use masking tape. This is optional but it will really elevate your drawing.
  2. Use the marker carefully. make sure you don’t use the marker outside of the outline
  3. Apply more force where the colors blend. Apply more force where the colors meet whether you are using a tissue or you hand.
  4. Avoid using a tissue to mix. If you use a tissue, it will not blend properly. The color from the soft pastels is washable
  5. Use fixative spray. This is optional again but this helps a LOT. this stops your drawing from fading.

Well, that is it guys. Make sure to like and subscribe to never miss a post. Also, subscribe to my youtube channel- https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCYXGWIw3C4-XCwX7LtRfYtw.

VEGETABLE LASAGNA RECIPE!!

Hey guys, welcome back to my blog, The Notebook By Divij Jain. Today, I will tell you about a very good lasagna recipe. I made it today and it was very yummy. It does take a lot of time but the result is amazing. The ingredients for the lasagna are as following:

  1. Lasagna sheets ( 6 )
  2. blanched tomatoes ( 6 medium )
  3. 10 garlic cloves ( chopped )
  4. 3 onions ( chopped )
  5. Italian seasoning
  6. Chilli flakes
  7. 2 capsicums ( chopped )
  8. 1 cup boiled corns
  9. 1 broccoli ( chopped )
  10. 3 tbsp flour
  11. 1 cup milk
  12. white pepper
  13. grated cheese ( i used mozzarella )

The recipe is as follows-

  1. ( for the red sauce ) In a pan, add oil and put 1 spoon chopped garlic in the pan. add onions and saute. when the onions are cooked, add the chopped tomatoes and stir. add salt and seasoning according to taste. take the sauce out and cool it. when cooled, bled it together. YOUR RED SAUCE IS READY
  2. ( for the white sauce ) In a pan, add oil and butter. add flour and mix constantly or the flour will burn. When the flour is done, add the milk and keep mixing it. stirring is very important here as if you don’t stir constantly, there will be lumps. if lumps are formed, you can strain the sauce. add seasoning and cheese according to taste.
  3. ( for the vegetables ) In a pan, add oil, garlic, onions and saute. when the onions are brown, add the bell peppers, broccoli, the corns and saute for a couple of minutes. when the vegetables are well done, add salt and take them off
  4. ( for the lasagna sheets ) in a pan, add water and heat it up. add salt and oil to the water. when the water is hot, add the lasagna sheets. boil it for about 5 minutes

Layering– in a lasagna dish, apply butter at the bottom and add red sauce. place the lasagna sheets and add red sauce above the sheets. pour white sauce and add some of the vegetables above the white sauce.

IMPORTANT NOTES –

  1. the number of layers is completely based on how deep your dish is. I used 3 layers.
  2. Add lost of cheese. After every layer, add cheese and some olives if you want.

MY FIRST GAME IN GAMEMAKER STUDIO 2 !

Hey guys, welcome back to my blog, The Notebook By Divij Jain. Today, I made my first game in gamemaker studio 2. This was my first time i tried out gamemaker studio 2 and I loved . It is very similar to the application scratch. So today I will be telling you about what i made and how i made it.

I tried out something pretty basic today. I followed a youtube video to make my game. So in this game, there was a character which was a blue rectangle and you could move it with the direction keys. There were also small circles which were gems on the screen. Your objective is to collect all of them. whenever you collected a gem, there was a sound which played. I took all the sound effects from google. once you collected all the gems, the game would automatically restart. As I said, this was a pretty simple game.

That’s all for today. I will be posting another blog tomorrow about the script of the game and how exactly I made it. Make sure to like and follow.

9 MINUTES FOR INDIA

Hey guys, welcome back to my blog, the notebook by divij jain. You all must be wondering what this blog is about and what ‘9 MINUTES FOR INDIA’ means. You might have read my last blog and you might know that Prime Minister Narendra Modiji requested the people of our nation to light up candles and diyas for 9 minutes at 9 PM tonight. Today, most of the people in my neighbourhood lit diyas and candles. It was a very beautiful scene to watch. The reason why Prime Minister Narendra Modiji wanted people to do this was because, if we all light one diya each, we will realise the power of the light and the power of unity. He said we will be able to highlight the objective for which we are all fighting together. I really loved this task as the concept was really surreal.

HOW TO EASILY PASS TIME IN LOCKDOWN

Hey guys, welcome back to my blog, The Notebook By Divij Jain. today, I will tell you different creative and productive ways in which you can from which you can easily pass time while doing something creative. Some of the things I do to pass time are-

  1. GARDENING

I love to do gardening. I always do it with my father on weekdays. We grow plants in our balcony in pots. We grow plants like aloe vera, tulsi because they emit oxygen and they are very easy to grow. Gardening keeps you stress free and relaxes you.

2.  TAKE UP ART

Art is one of the best things that you can do during lockdown. art helps you express yourself and your feelings. I am taking online classes for art during the lockdown as i don’t get enough time to do extracurricular activities during my school days.

3. SPEND TIME WITH YOUR FAMILY

You might not get enough time during your normal routine so I think this is the best time to spend time with your family. In my house, we have a rule that we have to eat our meals on the dining table together. You can visit your grandparents and if that is not possible, help out your parents with the chores.

4. LEARN A NEW LANGUAGE

Learning a foreign language is very helpful and useful. It might help you in your career and even in real life situations. It is very fun and productive to learn a new language. you can opt for online classes that offer easy and fun ways to learn the language

5. WATCH GOOD MOVIES AND TV SHOWS

Watching TV with your family is a very good thing to do. During lockdown, we tend to put the TV on and watch what we usually do but during this lockdown, do not watch the same ones. look for new topics, this will educate you in different topics and you will get to know your interests better

That’s all for today. make sure to like and subscribe for more blogs like this.
